here i am bailing out my dugout canoe. notice my canoe has the guyanese equivalent of training wheels, so i wouldn't tip over and sink in the river. my dog, bubba, loved riding in the canoe and traveling out to bombury hill which is a village about 5 miles from mabaruma and is where he still lives today (hopefully).
