this is what happens when a hobby goes a little overboard.

not that we are the only ones who this happens to, reefkeeping has become an increasingly popular past-time as science, technology and the internet combine to make it possible not only to keep captive species- but grow them and propogate them. in fact, most of the animals you will see here were raised by other hobbyists. the majority began their lives in our tank as small pieces- in the hobby dubbed 'frags'. these frags grew to be the corals they are today- and continue to grow so that we can share them with new 'reefers'-and the cycle continues.
